  Lovely pub - we had a large ground of 12 dad's out for a Friday night drink, found a table to accommodate us all! Great selection of beers and other drinks, lovely location. Can't fault it really!

  Came here for drinks over the bank holiday weekend and arrived when the FA Cup Final was on. Had no problem getting served, wide range of drinks, takes cards (and contactless) - happy days!

  A great evening until the next day. We held an event in the Library, the room was set up on time and looked great. The service staff were very helpful in dealing with our requests and bringing out the canapés. The problems came the next day when we accidentally left a couple of small items behind. I called the pub 12 hours later and asked the manager to have a look for them, and she assured me she would get back to me shortly. She failed to call me back that day and the next day all their staff seemed incapable of answering my other numerous calls and email.
  48 hours later I went back to the pub to talk to the manager in person (as mentioned no one can pick up a phone). She tells me she is unable to locate my items but wasn't working on the night and the other manager might have put them in another location, so she will get the manager to email me tomorrow. Finally I hear from someone who tells me our belongings have been thrown away as we didn't request them to keep them (what kind of rule is this)! I have emailed since but have (surprisingly) not heard back. I assume this is a blanket policy with all items left in the pub so just be careful and remember to instruct the staff beforehand that if they find your phones or jackets, etc., not to throw them away as you'll most probably want them back!

  Lovely room a bit on small side. Food okay but lukewarm. Latte almost warm. Friendly staff who are very efficient. But there were children running about uncontrollably.
