    The chicken is to die for! Billed as somewhat spicy, it turned out to be not hot at all and so palatable by mere humans.

    Great choice of gins and tonics to accompany them in a no-frills "local" pub.

    What a brilliant tavern!! fantastic east end pub, great food, great atmosphere, lovely log fire on a cold day and super staff, cant wait to go again!! If your looking for that special east end pub then this is it...Highly recommended!!!

    Fantastically ran pub. The drink choice is really nice with a nice ipa and locally produced bottled cider. The bar service is brilliant and the clientele there are very friendly. They have a nice covered outdoor seating area.
