  The food was very good but was offset by very poor service. You have to finish eating before 21:30 otherwise you have to pay a cover charge for the jazz band, but after 90 minutes we'd still only had our starters. The management were very apologetic and waived the charge and even offered to waive the service charge which is why they still got 3*

  Staff is only nice until something goes wrong. We ordered jersey oysters, they only had 3, so they brought us a different kind after. One of them stank like a corpse, which we realised only after it was eaten. There was a huge, sticking hole in it and it tasted gross. When we told the waiter he said he'll talk to the cook but it's 'seasonal and normal! I think we've had at least 30 oysters this spring and none of them were like this. He came back saying again that it's normal. A lady who seemed like the manager came later to see how everything was and we told her what happened and she didn't even apologise. She completely brushed it off and acted like everything was normal. we then got our mains, which was a small steak and a fish i didn't order, when i said i ordered a duck, they said it will be 5 minutes. we didn't wait. we still had to pay for the dreadful oysters. I was so furious.

  Very nice restaurant, with love music while you enjoy your food, helpful and friendly staff.
