  This place is peculiar. There's a bunch of dining tables on a platform by the side doors, but nobody cared to tell us that it's bar service only. So we sat there for about 10 minutes trying to make eye contact with the waiting staff, and to get a menu. We managed to get a menu, but they still didn't tell us about the self service. Eventually we ordered some OK drinks and chips. I've eaten here before, and the food is like your average pub. The best thing about this establishment is the interior - a lot of thought has been put into it, and it's generally quite interesting.

  Good vibe on a Friday. Have always enjoyed catching up with mates here but the last time I went the bouncer didn't want to let us in because the guy said there were too many men inside. Seriously!!?

  The Folly is enormous and as such a great venue for leaving drinks etc as it's central to the city and easy for people to enter. The decor is quirky but not too over the top. Also a good venue during the day e.g. for business breakfasts, with some tasty options. It is very business-oriented primarily due to its location, but I would also feel comfortable taking anyone there
