  A lovely overnight stay. The rooms are clean & decorated in a quirky style which suits the place. We have eaten before at the pilot and again we were not disappointed. The shepherds pie is my favourite!

  I can only speak about the pub part of the business. It's the only pub in the area so you don't really have a choice. That said, the food is good and there is a reasonable variety of drinks. The atmosphere is lovely and when the weather is nice, the garden is a real treat.
  The pub in unremarkable but it's also a safe bet and on the cleaner side of pubs. At the end of the day, it really does all that I'd want in a pub and the atmosphere is comforting in an oddly homely way. I'd recommend the place to most in the area and the 4 start rating could be 5 if the management decided to create more of a character to the place.

  The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice interior and exterior. We ordered food which took a little long to come out but it was worth the wait as was very tasty. The food was served on hot plates so the food stayed warm. I would recommend and would go again

  The fish and chips was great, and the pub snacks are freshly made too.
  
  Great beer garden and indoor seating as well, also on site parking for at least 15+ cars.
