  The ambience of this place is something else. We came here with a friend to have a Sunday roast. The service is immaculate and everyone one has a smiley face. We both had the beef which unfortunately was just OK. Their selection of cask ales though is really good.
  Worth to visit again for sure.

  Food was really good, except the mash which was more like marmite gravy! Asked to send it back and was told no by the female manager as it wasn't sent back by anyone else that evening - what?!
  
  Then the taller male waiter asked me 'what are you looking at me like that for?!' When I was a bit surprised to be given the bill before we hadn't yet finished. Suffice to say I didn't tip and wouldn't go back.
  
  Shame as it could have been a nice experience except for the poor service - having said that the shorter Italian waiter was very nice, the team should learn from him.

  Great pub... often very busy and difficult to get a table. There's an amazing pizza place very close which was the perfect end to a fun night
