  It's the perfect Friday night location. It's buzzing, they've got amazing beer (Dennis Hopp'r and others). The building is one of the more distinguished and beautiful in London. Space isn't an issue as the pub is got two floors and a beer garden.
  
  TL;DR - one of the best watering holes in London​. In the middle of hipster central.

  This used to be a great pub - quite dark inside, decent music, bit beaten up with locals and an genuine atmosphere.
  
  It's now really bright, clean and completely soulless - just how the owners want it to be I expect.
  
  Had a chuckle when I saw those ridiculous hipster light bulbs with the big filaments that every refurbished pub seems to have...?
  
  1 ale and about 7 IPA's, (which are all ridiculously expensive at £6 - £7 each).
  
  Shame.

  Went this weekend with a mixed group with the intention of getting pizzas, having a couple of beers and keeping half an eye on the football. The drinks are far too expensive and this was my first visit since my first time a few weeks ago - when I bought two beers and some nuts that came to well over 12 pounds. Still, I was swayed by the group to give it another go.
  
  Positives: The football screen is great quality and they show it at a volume that enables you to engage with the match or zone out of it if required. Hardly any pubs get this right so this is great.
  
  Negatives: The pizza isn't...well pizza. Its sort of dry crisp bread. When you are expecting pizza this is really disappointing. We also had to clear our own table as the (not busy) bar staff were not on it enough.
  
  On the whole, not good enough.
