  Right - all these negative reviews are from when this restaurant was under its OLD management. Thai Corner Cafe is now called Thai Corner Islington and is a TOTALLY different place! My father lives in Bangkok and so I've spent the last 12 years visiting him every year and making an effort to try as much authentic Thai cuisine as possible. I can honestly say that the food we ordered tonight is the closest to real Thai food that I've had outside of Thailand in a LONG time. NOT like some of the watered down and westernised Thai food you get in pubs or in country town restaurants - the beef Weeping Tiger dish and chicken Jungle Curry we had tonight was so delicious we couldn't quite believe it! Please disregard the old reviews of this place from a year ago. The new management and chefs really know what they're doing! Great value too. We'll definitely be either going or ordering again!

  We order takeaway regularly from Thai Corner but have now on 3 separate occasions received our meal with some sort of mistake. 1st time we received a starter instead of a main course, second the incorrect soup and most recently 2 of our dishes were not what we ordered, we got a beef red curry instead of chicken and a completely different noodle dish from our order which tasted like someone's leftovers that had been sitting in the fridge for 4 days, it really made me feel ill. The other dishes were nice. Tried to call to let them know about the mistake and the phone rang and rang and no-one answered. It's just not good enough when I've spent £45 on a meal. I think this has happened 3 too many times for me to go back, sorry. I wouldn't recommend this anymore. :(

  Terrible customer service!! Order didn't arrive with uber eats, tried to call 10 times over the course of half an hour and nobody picked the phone up.
