  Fantastic beer garden. Room at the front and back, really busy in the sunny weather but I can see why. Worth a visit.

  Atmosphere was OK but the food and service left much to be desired. We went on a Friday evening (7-10pm). Triple cooked chips were cold on arrival and like cardboard to eat. Cheeseburger brioche bun was dry like it had been left out for a number of days prior. Our food order took a long time to arrive and several orders were wrong. Would not go back given the choice of lots of other nice pubs around.

  Terrible.
  My partner and I just got back from The Albion with empty stomachs... we arrived at 7.30pm and got sent straight to the bar to get a drink and wait for our table to be laid - absolutely fine.
  We then got seated and the atrocious service was instantly apparent. We had to go and ask someone after 20minutes of sitting there if we could order something. We then waited 35minutes just for our board of meats etc (after we had asked when we might get it). The board was delicious!
  We were than waiting until 8.45 for someone to acknowledge that we had finished our starter and ready for our mains. The mains eventually came out, but cold... as though it had sat on the side for too long and just the gravy had kept it warm! The stuffing was genuinely fridge cold. Everything else was partly cold and dried out.
  We have never sent food back before, but we did. The staff didn't care, manager included, who in fact responded with 'well we don't have any more food in the kitchen, we can't give you anything else' gathering that we wanted to wait to eat a full on roast after 9pm on a Sunday!
  Definitely not going back, at least for a long time.
  There was another couple who sat down next to us 15minutes after we arrived - they left their wine and looks like they had just walked out.
  We have just got back laughing about this evening and making ourselves dinner!
