  been going to Jamie's for years and made it a twice a month treat for me and the wife. and because I used to work there I know how amazing the food can be but this time it was the worst experience we have had by far food was forgotten Twice ! First my wife's starter then my Dessert, my stake was flavourless and the slaw was just shredded veg in pure vinegar, and also it seemed the chefs were trying to save money or running out of food because when we got out desserts it was a joke the brownie was smaller then half the size of a credit card and was no thicker then a chopstick and the ice cream served with it looked like they tried to scrape what little they had left it looked like someone's eaten half of it, and my polenta cake was so small I was tempted to take a photo. all in all the only thing we both liked was the funky polenta chips. paid over £60.00 Very upset with how it all went and feel like standards have dropped ( No Passion No Big Love )

  I've been there a few times. Don't remember having anything tasty. The truffle pizza was way too salty and a bit fatty. I had some kind of aubergine too. Wasn't it impressed.
  
  They have metal chairs. They make your butt freeze. Really bad idea especially in winter.
  
  Service wasn't great either. They made 2 mistakes on one occasion. There was no attempt to make up for them.

  Sorry Jamie but, as an Italian used to savouring traditional cooking and recipes handed down generation to generation, my palate was slightly underwhelmed by some of the trademark dishes. Pizza - mediocre. Gnocchi - too rubbery not soft enough. Antipasti - dried meats not fresh enough. But I did appreciate the attempt to recreate an authentic tasting and traditional Italian menu.
