  lovely spot for a drink or a meal. however it's usually rammed at weekends so time your visit accordingly. the function room upstairs is a hidden gem. we got married there and it was a great choice. we returned yesterday for our 7th anniversary for a meal but had to settle for drinks outside. in hindsight booking would have been better, but it was a spur of the moment thing.

  Came here on a first date 11 years ago and I regularly come back when I am in Greenwich. Great historical building and inside is a tribute to Greenwich Naval history. Walls are plastered with paintings & artifacts. Located on the Thames, this place offers great views of the boats on the Thames and of central London. Is perfect for all occasions: social drinks, wedding receptions, afternoon tea, lunch & dinner. The food is typical bar food and is hugely portioned. Has a small restaurant which offers better service & afternoon tea. You must pre book to get a table as it is always rammed in here. On my last visit there was a mess up with my booking which was disappointing as I have called the day before to confirm. When I arrived our table was given to another party. We had to wait & could not get a table in the restaurant but was compensated with a free round of drinks. But everyone occasion was flawless.

  Nice place to have a drink or a bike to eat next to the Thames. Outside seating is a bonus if the sun is out. Good selection of ales.

  Flat beer, food was bit skimpy for the price (expensive). But view and staff were great! very polite and patient.
  
  The Trafalgar burger was nice enough and thick.
  
  Smoked chicken salad had 2 elements for the salad (lettuce and green beans), single breast of chicken in a smokey sauce. Portions were good as light lunch tbh.
